Oakland at Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Angels’ playoffs hopes have taken a big hit in this series. The A's have taken the first three games, on their way to six straight wins. Oakland is certainly for real and are on fire at 21-5 over their last 26 games. They have amazingly held 20 of those 26 opponents to 1 run or less. Jered Weaver took a shot in the arm in his last start, and was held back this weekend. An MRI later revealed that he is suffering from some tendonitis. He has not pitched well over his last five starts where the Angels have won just two of them. The A's have simply owned right-handed pitching where they are 40-11 in their last 51 games. The Angels continue to struggle to beat good teams at home, as they are now 1-7 in their last eight vs. a team with a winning road mark. Play on Oakland.
