Oakland at Los Angeles

We took LA last night as a dog but we'll fade them in that role tonight. They have been much better on the road (10-5, averaging 5.0 runs per game) than at home (6-5, averaging 4.4 rpg). The A's are 9-4 on the road and face Jon Garland who has a 5.04 ERA thus far. He's just 3-8 vs. Oakland with a 4.70 ERA. Going for Oakland is Chad Gaudin who owns a much better 3.38 ERA. Oakland is 13-5 this season vs. teams allowing 4.7 or fewer runs per game. They have only lost one game this season on the road at night (vs. seven wins). Finally, the A's are 11-4 this season as an underdog! We'll back them as a dog here.
