Oakland at Houston

Houston is experiencing one of the strangest sequences in MLB history as it comes off a 21-7 loss following two wins when the Astros totaled 36 runs. They are still 56-18 at home and lead Oakland by 9 1/2 games in the AL West and Tuesday's loss snapped a five-game winning streak. The Athletics are 2-7 over the last nine meetings at Houston and 20-42 the last 62 meetings overall. Also, the Astros are 46-14 their last 60 versus AL West teams. Oakland has lost Brett Anderson's last four starts against Houston. Jose Urquidy is scheduled to make his sixth start for the Astros and he allowed a run on two hits in four innings in his last outing against Seattle, and the Athletics will be seeing him for the first time.
