Like all bad teams, somewhere during the season they will have a good run, and that has already happened with Houston. The Astros made a 14-10 run over a 24-game stretch, but that has been far left behind as they have settled back into the "minor league" team they are at 4-17 over their last 21. Oakland plays steady and wins when they are supposed to, as represented by their 63-25 record in their last 88 in the role of a favorite. They have not been lost in this situation on the road either, as they are 13-3 in their last 16 road games vs. a team with a home winning percentage under .400. Not too many surprises sprung with this Houston team, as they are a lowly 22-76 in their last 98 vs. a team with a winning record, including 11-40 at home. The A's are 11-0 in the last 11 meetings, which includes eight straight wins in Houston. Back the A's.
