More than any other team, the Oakland A's make the most of less. They are the smallest payroll team in baseball, and they continue to build from within. They have also found magic in four rookie starters. Tom Milone is one of them and with a 13-10 mark and 3.81 ERA, Oakland takes the field as a dog with a pitching advantage. Anibel Sanchez has an ERA of over 4 and is just 8-12 on the season. The Tigers are just 3-6 in his nine starts since coming over from Miami. The A's have brutalized right-hand pitching to the tune of 40-14 in their last 54 against them, including 10-3 in their last 13 on the road. Oakland continues to show value as a dog, and are a live one here. Play on Oakland.
