The Oakland A's have proven why they are here over the first two games of this series, holding the hard hitting Tigers to three runs in the first two games to head to game 3 with the series knotted at one game apiece. The A's are off of a shutout, and they fit into a heavy hitting 22-2 situation that is based in part on that. Miguel Cabrera is battling a groin injury, and he is not getting the extra base hits, while Prince Fielder is 1-8 in the first two games, and owns a 1-10 mark against Parker in his career. The A's have shown they can neutralize the heart of the Tiger's order, and I like their chances here. Remember, Parker went 19 starts at one point of this season between losses. The A's are 25-20 in their last 35 games overall. Play on Oakland in this one.
