Oakland has a true stopper in Dan Haren. Haren has started seven games after an Oakland loss and is 7-0 in those starts. The A's have also won his last seven starts overall and 12 of his last 14. Haren looks to be the leading candidate to start the All-Star game with his sub-2 ERA. He has started 16 games this season and opponents have scored just 42 runs, or 2.6 rpg. That means he is not only pitching well, but the bullpen behind him is giving up less than a run per game as well. Cliff Lee has not pitched well and has just four quality starts in 10 appearances. The Indians line-up has fallen off in June after a big start, as they have been shutout twice. They have also been held to two runs or less in 7 of their 22 June games, and their record is just 10-12. We like the A's to even up the series.
