The Oakland A's are 11 games over .500 and are playing very well. The issue here is that they are about even with the White Sox, considering their road mark of three games over .500 vs. the Sox's two over at home, so the home dog here looks to be the valued side. When you consider that Jose Quintana has out-pitched Dan Straily by nearly a run per game on the season, I think it adds value here. Chicago has more than held their ground at home vs. a team with a winning road record, with an impressive 16-5 mark in their last 21. That also includes 4-1 behind Quintana in that situation. The A's have struggled here, posting just one win in their last five played. Play on the White Sox.
