The Oakland Athletics watched Dallas Braden get roughed-up in his opener, but this is a guy that threw to a mid-3s ERA a year ago. He allowed less hits than innings pitched and doesn't walk many. That allows his team to be in almost every game he takes the mound. Mark Buehrle has pitched at a high level for quite sometime, but his numbers say he may be on the decline. Last year he was a .500 pitcher, and allowed 246 hits in 210 innings and didn't reach the 100-strikeout mark. His first two starts in 2011 have been less than spectacular allowing 9 runs in 11 innings. Oakland takes this one.
