The Athletics are a long way from home and lose the DH. They are 17-35 in interleague road games versus a winning team. Starter Chris Bassitt struggles on the road with a 4.53 ERA. He's allowed 11 of his 14 homers on the road and faces a patient and potent Chicago offense that is eighth in on-base percentage and slugging. Chicago has been terrific at Wrigley Field, on a 36-16 run at home. Starter Kyle Hendricks (3.07 ERA) has allowed two runs or less in eight of his last 10 starts.
