Oakland at Boston

The Oakland A's had been playing a bit over their heads, but now have a difficult stretch. After winning Game 1, they dropped two of three to the Yankees over the weekend, and now find themselves in the same spot vs. Boston, again after taking Game 1. Boston will wheel out a hot young pitcher in Eduardo Rodriguez, who is 3-0 on the season, and owns a 2-0 record vs. the A's in his short career on the strength of a 1.64 ERA. Oakland will also go with the young Daniel Mengden, but he has enjoyed nothing but pain vs. Boston, as he owns a 0-1 record in two career starts against them, with an eight ERA.
