Oakland at Boston

Boston has crushed Oakland's pitching the first two games of the series, scoring 27 runs with 31 hits and five home runs. Jackie Bradley, Jr. is five-for-nine, including a grand slam and the Red Sox won last night's game 13-5 without David Ortiz in the lineup. Boston has won three in a row while the Athletics have lost four straight. Eric Surkamp is 0-2 with a 5.59 ERA after allowing six runs and nine hits in just 4 2/3 innings his last outing at Toronto.  The left-hander has a 6.14 ERA on the road this season and the Red Sox have a .757 OPS versus southpaws this season and they lead the majors with a .295 batting average at home. Rick Porcello has had five quality starts in a row and has not allowed more than three earned runs since his first start on April 9. The due factor is in Porcello's favor after he lost a tough 3-2 decision to the Yankees on Friday. Also, Porcello is 3-0 with a 2.66 ERA at Fenway Park with 23 strikeouts in 20 1/3 innings with only three walks. We're still getting a reasonable price in this matchup, so take the Red Sox for my moneyline Game of the Month.
