The rallying Red Sox hit a speed bump last night in their series equalizing a loss vs. the A's. The Sox offense is explosive and catching fire producing 69 runs over their last ten games at just about seven per contest. This will leave the A's hard pressed to keep up here. Daniel Bard and his 100 MPH fastball, which struggled in his 2012 starting debut, has settled down nicely allowing just three total runs in his last two starts. The A's have managed to put just two of Brandon McCarthy's last eight starts in the win column, while the Sox have been deadly at Fenway vs. losing teams, compiling a 194-91 mark in their last 285 here vs. a losing squad. A's have not had much bite at Fenway at just 18-37 in their last 55. Play on Boston.
