I think that everyone knew it was just a matter of time before Boston got its act together, and they certainly have. They dug themselves into a 4-9 hole to start the season, but have recovered nicely to go 7-1 in their last eight. The Sox’s bats have made a lot of noise, producing 66 runs in their last nine games at over 7 per contest and have scored 10+ in four of their last seven. Jarrod Parker may turn out to be a good pitcher, but he will pitch on the road for the first time ever in his big league career against an intimidating Stadium, fans, and hot bats. The Sox have been big against teams with losing records at Fenway where they are 194-90 in their last 284. Boston has cleaned-up against an opponent that allowed 5 or more runs in their previous game at 7-0 over their last seven, and the A's are 1-7 in their last eight vs. Boston. Play on Boston.
