Oakland at Boston

Whoa - Oakland goes for the very unlikely third win in a row here after winning the first two by a combined score of 20-7. I don't think thye get it against Curt Schilling. Even after these two losses, Boston is 10-5 against Oakland at home over the past three seasons. Laying just -175 on Curt Schilling at home presents nice value. He is 10-3 this season including a perfect 6-0 at home where has been nearly unhittable. He's gone 7 innings per start at home giving up just 15 runs in 49 innings. He's notched 48 strikeouts to just 3 walks and one home run! The Sox are due to break out of their mini slump as they still average nearly 6 runs per game at home while Oakland is playing over their heads. Road underdogs of +150 or more with a decent bullpen whose WHIP is 1.350 to 1.450 on the season batting .260 or worse are just 27-98 (22%) over the last 5 seasons. Like Schilling to keep Oakland in check and Boston bats to do enough for the win here.
