Oakland at Baltimore

Baltimore combined great pitching with clutch hitting again and defeated the Athletics 5-2 on Friday night as top rookie Gunnar Henderson doubled twice and Jorge Mateo hit a two-run single in the eighth. The Orioles have won three straight and six of eight while allowing only 14 runs in that span. Oakland has lost three in a row and has the worst record in the American League and the Athletics are 27-41 on the road and the Orioles are 38-24 at home. Austin Voth will start for the Orioles and he has allowed just eight runs his past five starts, including one run on one hit in six innings against Houston on Sunday. Adam Oller comes off a good performance against the Yankees, but he is 2-6 with a 5.66 ERA overall. Baltimore now is 14-3 its past 17 game versus the AL West and the Athletics are 5-15 against the AL East. Take the Orioles.
