The New York Yankees have lost four straight. They are now running out of games, as their playoffs aspirations are now on life support. The Bombers were shutout here last night, as the injuries keep piling up. Tonight they go to battle with Phil Hughes, who they tried to deal at the break, but found no takers. So here he is in a pennant race as their best option. Hughes is an ugly 4-13 with a huge 5.07 ERA, and just has not been effective all season. The Yanks have been beaten up on the road vs. a team with a losing home record where they are 3-13 in their last 16. The Jays are looking to build upon four straight wins against a team that scored 2 runs or less in their last contest. The Yanks are squandering opportunities, and are just 1-4 here in the last five. Play on Toronto.
