The Yankees will move to Chad Gaudin to start vs. the Jays. Gaudin had no success in San Diego, and his biggest problem is his command. The Yankees are his sixth team in just seven years, and it is because he hasn't had success anywhere. He pitched a full season in Oakland in 2007, walking 100 in less than 200 innings, and this year his free pass total is up to 66 in just 119 innings. Ricky Romero was good enough against the Yanks to get a win at Yankee Stadium, and at home this season he is 7-3. The Yankees will also be short in the bullpen, as Mariano Rivera will be shelved with a slight groin strain. The door is open for the Jays with their most consistent starter on the mound in Romero, against a Yankees’ starter that is wild, and has just had no success at the big league level. Plus, the Yanks don't have their stopper to finish the game. I'll go with Toronto here.
