Toronto bounced back after being routed by the Yankees on Friday with a big win of its own as the Blue Jays enjoyed a 9-3 victory yesterday. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a two-run homer, a three-run double and an RBI single for the Blue Jays, who handed New York its 10th loss in 13 games. Kevin Gausman starts for Toronto, which won his last outing over Boston as he allowed four runs on five hits in six innings. Gausman is 3-0 with a 2.72 ERA in day games this season. Gerrit Cole comes off a rough start on Tuesday when he gave up six runs on seven hits in just four innings after allowing two runs in four innings his first start of the season versus Baltimore. New York is 0-6 its past six games as a road favorite and Toronto has won five of six home games against teams with .600 road winning percentages.
