Yankees righty Masahiro Tanaka (3.18 ERA) got off to a good start and has extra rest. He has enjoyed success against Toronto's lineup, posting a 5-2 record and 2.23 average in seven career starts. That includes seven scoreless innings of four-hit ball last September and a complete game at the Rogers Centre in mid-August. The Yankees are 14-6 in Tanaka's last 20 road starts. Toronto is home but not off to a great start, plus the Blue Jays are 4-9 vs. a right-handed starter. Toronto goes with young Aaron Sanchez, who is a two-pitch pitcher. He has a good fastball but struggles against lefties, which is a concern against the Yankees with Jacoby Ellsbury, Brian McCann, Didi Gregorius, Carlos Beltran, Brett Gardner and Mark Teixeira all capable of hitting left-handed. Play the NY Yankees.
