New York at Tampa Bay

This is the seventh straight road game for the N.Y. Yankees on a nine-game trek. This game was supposed to be in Tampa Bay, but they shifted it to where the NY Mets play because of the weather turmoil in Florida. The Yankees come off a win yesterday, but lost in the shuffle is that the pitching staff has allowed 20 runs the last four games. That included an 11-5 loss at Texas as -157 chalk. Sonny Gray has started seven games for New York and has a losing record since he was acquired from the Athletics on July 31. Gray is 3-12 against AL teams scoring 4.4 or less runs per game. Tampa Bay has Blake Snell going, who is 2-1 with a 2.89 ERA in six career starts against the Yankees. He has a 2.70 ERA in two starts against New York this season, a team he has faced more than any opponent in his two-year career.
