The New York Yankees are on a free fall, losing six straight and all of the last four within the division. Last night they failed to hold a 5-1 lead. Right now the pitching is letting them down, and so is the offense as no one is hitting for average and the HR is generating over 50% of the offense. Controversy is back on the table with Jeter and Posada, and the Yankees are looking like old misfits. After a difficult 2010 campaign, James Shields is back on track with a 4-1 record backed by a stellar 2.08 ERA. The Rays are now 7-0 in Shield's last seven starts, and the Yanks are reeling in Tampa Bay at 1-4 in their last five played here. Tampa Bay gets the money.
