Can Seattle really sweep the Yankees? I don't see it happening. Yes, the M's are on a roll having won nine of their last ten. But tonight they must face CC Sabathia. On the road this season, Sabathia owns a 2.86 ERA. For a team that manages just 3.3 runs per game at home, that's not a good thing. During their win streak, Seattle has found offense. But I believe that to be more a fluke than a long-term trend. The full season numbers speak for themselves. The Yankees average 5.6 runs per game away from home and today I believe they find a win. The Yankees are 124-44 in their last 168 as a favorite of -150 or more. The Mariners are just 88-125 overall the past two seasons including 21-42 in day games and 19-45 vs. left handed pitchers. This one goes to the Yankees.
