The Mariners are now 23-16 UNDER at home this season. When you are scoring 3.5 runs per game, this is no surprise. The Yankees, always known for offense, just aren't very offensive this year. On the road, this team averages only 4.8 runs per game and their production also falls when facing left-handed pitchers like Cliff Lee. Lee has been amazing this season, posting a 2.34 ERA. On a team that is 34-51, he has a record of 8-3 (3-1 at home). He's 10-1 UNDER the last three seasons when pitching at home as a favorite of -100 to -150. Phil Hughes is 10-2 with a 3.83 ERA. He's actually been better on the road than at home. Away from Yankee Stadium, Hughes is 4-1 with a 2.56 ERA. When facing an AL team that allows under 4.3 runs per game, the Mariners are 13-4 UNDER this season. Both teams struggle to score here. I like the UNDER.
