If we have learned anything from this resilient Oakland team, it is that they don't stay down long. Last night they were blanked 7-0 to the Yankees, and never got a runner past second base. The Yankees get a lot of fanfare behind Tanaka, but Scott Kasmir's ERA is just .18 higher than his, and he is 7-2 on the season. Hiroki Kuroda has been pedestrian at 4-4 with a 4.12 ERA on the season, and has not responded well as an underdog, with the Yanks at 2-7 in his last nine starts in this role, and just 2-10 in his last 12 road starts overall. The A's are in their bullseye zone here as they are an amazing 101-48 in their last 149 at home to a total of 7 to 8.5. Grab the A's in this one.
