The Subway series seems to always bring the best out of the Mets, who have some momentum off of a 2-1 thriller last night. They also have their best chance on the mound behind the serves of Matt Harvey and his 5-0 record, backed by a tiny 1.93 ERA. Hiroki Kuroda was hit in the leg last start, forcing an early exit, and wasn't pitching well anyway. He has performed poorly at Citi Field over his career where he stands at a winless 0-3 backed by a 6.19 ERA. The Yankees have been faltering vs. superior pitching now at 8-17 in their last 25 vs. a pitcher with a WHIP below 1.15. The Mets have been in charge as an interleague favorite, where they are 7-0 in their last seven. Play on the Mets.
