Chase Whitley steps in for CC Sabathia here who is out with a right knee injury. Whitley went 3-2 with a 2.39 ERA in six starts in Triple A and he owns a 2.65 ERA in his 151 career minor league games. Joe Girardi feels he's ready for the Bigs, stating "I've seen his stuff, and he'll be able to compete." The Mets also feature a pitcher making his MLB debut in Jacon deGrom. In his triple-A games this year he's 4-0 with a 2.58 ERA. The Mets have managed just 3.2 runs per game this season at home and they are 37-22 to the UNDER the past couple of seasons in expected close games (line of -125 to +125).
