Judge had a run-scoring hit, then clubbed a grand slam, but the Yankees came up short 9-7. Tonight the Yankees will go with a player that has risen into elite status. Luis Gil has the Yankees 12-3 in his 15 decisions this season, and he has been a big surprise, and certainly has had an all-star first half. The Mets have played better, but they are like so many teams in the NL that are right around the .500 mark.
