The New York Yankees have had a solid season but they have lost Giancarlo Stanton with a hamstring injury. Pitching has carried this team, however, and Gerrit Cole takes the mound tonight for just his second start. Cole is a top of the rotation pitcher that is showing no ill effects of an arm injury that kept him out of the lineup. The Mets big payroll last year was supposed to come with a Championship, but the wheels fell off and it was a big failure by ownership. The Mets have played below .500 baseball for the season, and I think Cole is up for beating their inner-city rivals. Make the play on the NY Yankees.
