To say Minnesota is long overdue to win a playoff game is an understatement as it has lost 15 in a row, but tonight the Twins have as good a chance as ever with Jake Odorizzi on the mound. He finished the season 15-7 with a 3.51 ERA, including 7-3 and 3.42 at home. New York has lost its last five road games versus right-handed starters and five of its last six road games overall. Also, the Yankees are 2-10 their last 12 playoff road games. The Twins are 21-6 in Odorizzi's last 27 starts and 17-6 his last 23 home starts and 9-3 his last 12 against teams with winning records. Luis Severino didn't make his first start until Sept. 17 due to a lat injury suffered in spring training. We're getting good value with the home underdog. Play the Twins.
