Los Angeles won for the fourth time in six games on Friday night defeating the Yankees 8-4 and scoring six runs in the first inning, including a leadoff homer and an RBI single by Mookie Betts. New York lost its second straight and will face Michael Grove, who just came off the injured list and will make his first start since April 20. Gerrit Cole goes for the Yankees and he is coming off two bad outings allowing 11 runs (10 earned) on 10 hits in 11 innings although New York was able to pull out wins in both. Betts and Freddie Freeman are a combined 13-for-31 for a .419 batting average against Cole. The Dodgers are 41-13 their past 54 home games versus right-handed starters and they are 20-8 overall at Dodger Stadium this year. Los Angeles is 34-24 on the run line, including 17-11 at home.
