New York at Los Angeles

New York is ignoring its many injuries and now has won five in a row after defeating the Angels 7-5 last night as Luke Voit homered twice and scored three runs. He now has the team lead with seven home runs and he has the longest active on-base streak in the majors at 33 games. Los Angeles hasn't been able to get on track under its first-year manager Brad Ausmus and the Angels have lost nine of their last 11 games. CC Sabathia is scheduled to start tonight and he appears to still have something left after a long career as he has allowed no earned runs in 10 innings this season and the Yankees have won both his starts. The Yankees are 21-8 the last 29 meetings and 44-13 after allowing at least five runs their previous game. New York has won the last five meetings at Angel Stadium. Play the Yankees.
