New York at Cleveland

The New York Yankees survived an implosion by ace pitcher, Luis Severino in the first inning of the one-and-done Wild Card round. Severino gave up three runs and lasted just 1/3 of an inning. It revealed the danger and strength of this Yankees team as they have an extremely deep bull pen. That pen pitched 8.2 innings, allowed five hits, one run, two walks and 13 strikeouts. The Yankees need starter Sonny Gray to work five strong innings tonight, and they should be in good shape. Gray has great numbers vs. the Indians in his career, with current members just 32-151 against him at .212. Better yet, he has held them to just one HR. Cleveland counters with Trevor Bauer who has been big down the stretch, but watch out for the Yankees trio of Gardner, Frazier, and Gregorius all with better than .300 averages in their career against them. This is a good shot for New York to pull the small upset here, so make the play on New York.
