Chicago stopped the Yankees' five-game win streak with a 3-2 victory on Saturday when Luis Robert singled off Aroldis Chapman in the ninth inning for a walk-off win. The White Sox have recovered from a slow start due to numerous injuries to win eight of their last 11. Michael Kopech will start today and he has given Chicago five or six solid innings this season and overall he has allowed just three earned runs in 29 innings. Kopech gave up one run on two hits in six innings against Cleveland on Monday. Chicago hitters are a combined 9-for-30 against Nestor Cortes and the White Sox are 45-20 their past 65 games versus left-handed starters, including 35-17 at home against southpaws. Also, Chicago is 5-0 versus a team that scored two or fewer runs its previous game. This is a good pitching matchup. Play the White Sox on the run line.
