New York just finished a harrowing weekend in Boston where they were swept in four games, and they'll ask newly acquired Lance Lynn to stem the tide. He comes off 4 1/3 shutout innings on five hits against Baltimore in his first appearance as a Yankee. New York has won 17 of the last 25 meetings and still is 40-16 its last 56 games following a loss and 24-7 its last 31 games against AL Central teams. Chicago is 1-7 in Dylan Covey's last eight starts, and he has been knocked around for 13 runs (10 earned) on 14 hits his last nine innings pitched, including a 10-5 loss to Kansas City on Wednesday. Covey is 4-7 with a 5.57 ERA overall, and he was 1-3 and 6.65 in July. The White Sox have lost 25 of their last 35 in the first game of a series. Look for the Bronx Bombers to get back on track.
