Chien-Ming Wang delivered a decisive blow in game one as the Yankees dominated the Sox 4-1. The Sox now send ace Josh Beckett to the mound in hopes of evening up the series. Beckett started the season on the DL and didn't look sharp in his opener, giving up 5 runs in 4.67 innings to the Blue Jays. He uncharacteristically walked four batters, something he did just once in 30 starts last season. As good as this guy is, he's got a 6.56 ERA vs. the Yankees who are not in awe of him. Throw in the fact that Big Pappy is also struggling (3-for-39) and the Boston offense is averaging just 2.9 runs per game vs. righties and you have an overrated Boston team at this lofty line. The Yankees aren't an underdog often, especially at this price and we might not have another opportunity for this kind of value all season. We'll take New York here.
