New York at Baltimore

The Baltimore Orioles have been the surprise team in baseball this season, and they are right at the top with the Yankees in the AL East. The Yankees go with C.C. Sabathia tonight, who is 13-4 on the season, while pitching to a 3.42 ERA. He certainly has not been the dominating pitcher we have seen in the past, and he has benefitted by the Yankees scoring 5.7 runs per game in his 23 starts. But at the same time, New York is just 9-7 in his last 16 starts. The Yankees have been a poor team over their last 46 games at just 21-25. Many thought that the O's would collapse down the stretch, but the opposite has been true as they are 25-12 in their last 37 games. The Yanks just 4-12 in their last 16 vs. a team with a winning record, while the O's have been dominating left-hand pitching to the tune of 13-3 in their last 16. Play on Baltimore.
