New York at Baltimore

The New York Yankees tried to bolster a weak attack prior to the trade deadline, but Headley, Prado, and Drew have not done anything to elevate the poor NY offense. Right now that offense has produced just 4 runs in their last three games, while an over taxed bullpen is starting to crumble as well. This is a broken team, patched together with aging former stars that simply don't have much left in the tank. Baltimore was considered a marginal contender back in March, but the Orioles are coming together, and are just four games off the pace in the AL behind Oakland for the best record in the AL. Everyone thought a 35 game stretch vs. teams with a winning record would be the swan song for this Baltimore team this season. They have taken the challenge head on, and 30 games into the brutal schedule they are 20-10. While the Yankees attack falters, the O's have gotten great pitching and have done so all against winning teams. The Yanks' 8-27 record in their last 35 as a dog from +110 to +150 doesn't bode well here, especially matched up against Chen who has led Baltimore to a 20-6 mark in his last 26 starts with a total from 7 to 8.5. Take Baltimore.
