New York at Baltimore

Many thought the Baltimore Orioles might fall out of the race in the AL as they took on a rather imposing stretch of 29 games, all against teams with winning records. The Birds came out of the 29 games with an eye opening 19-10 record and have to be considered a strong candidate to prevail in the AL East, and beyond. They will continue their assault against a winning team when they take on the Yankees tonight. New York made a few moves to bolster the offense before the trading deadline, but not much has changed. The atypical New York attack remains weak, and the Bronx Bombers have been silenced, scoring just one time in their last two games vs. Cleveland. Bud Norris has gone 6-2 in his last nine starts and has delivered a 4-2 mark at home on the season while pitching to a 2.61 ERA. The Yanks are a pathetic 8-27 in their last 35 as a dog from +110 to +150 and don't appear to have much bite. Play on Baltimore.
