New York at Washington

The Washington Nationals have long ago put away the NL East, and now have a four game lead in the loss column for the overall best record in the NL, so they are just about locked in as a top seed. They will likely begin to set their playoffs rotation, and work starters in and out of the lineup at this point. The Mets have suddenly caught Atlanta for second place in the NL East. New York is 12-6 over their last 18 games, and shows no signs of quitting, and with a 5-1 finish in the last week, they could finish the season at .500. Bartolo Colon has been great at getting the Mets off to a strong start as he has pitched them to a 7-1 record in series openers.
