New York at Washington

So much has been expected from this Washington team. The rotation is very solid, but they have suffered a lot of crucial losses to the offense. Arguably their top three hitters in Adam LaRoche, Ryan Zimmermann, and Bryce Harper are all on the sidelines, as the Nats try to generate offense without them. Gio Gonzalez has not been the same pitcher we saw last season as he is just 3-3 with an ERA hovering around 4. Washington has been great when scoring 4 or more runs where they are 18-1 on the season, but when they don't they are just 4-18. They have already failed to score 4 runs or more with higher frequency than they get to 4, and with the heart of the lineup on the sidelines, expect more trouble ahead. Play on New York.
