The Washington Nationals have been playing poorly, but they got a big lift with a walk-off win in Game 2 of their twin bill vs. the Mets yesterday. That should have them feeling good heading into this contest today. Dan Haren has no doubt struggled this season, and he is certainly better than the numbers he has posted. The Mets, however, have had struggles of their own vs. right-handed pitching where they are 17-36 in their last 53. They are also just 7-20 behind Gee when he is off a quality start, as he has not been consistent. The Nats have delivered five wins in their last six games at home vs. a losing team. The Mets have had issues vs. the Nats, as they are 9-23 in the last 32 meetings. Go with the home team.
