New York at Washington

The Mets have won five straight while Washington has lost four of five. Tom Glavine started strong this year but he's been hammered of late. He's still 12-4 on the year including 6-2 on the road and he's facing a pitcher who has given up 8 runs in 7 innings pitched. Glavine is 20-9 with a 3.17 ERA lifetime vs. Washington. Backing him up is an excellent bullpen with a 3.07 road ERA and 15-4 save record. He should get plenty of run support from an offense that's averaging 5.8 runs per game on the road and 5.8 per game vs. lefties. Glavine to bounce back here and the Mets to win.
