The Texas Rangers went all the way last year, so the expectations have grown with it. The season so far has not awakened the Rangers, and they will come into this game seven games below .500. This is an interesting game because the Mets have won seven straight and the Rangers have lost five straight. The Rangers have been consistently bad for the better part of the season, as have the Mets, up until now. The Mets are playing better than at every other point of the season.
