The New York Mets have won the first two in this series, but today have to go against Matt Cain, who owns a 3.61 ERA against them in his career. The Mets will turn to Zach Wheeler and his 4.29 ERA in limited starts this season. Wheeler has been giving up some big hits as 10 of the 21 hits he has allowed on the season have gone for extra bases. The Mets don't actually have a pedigree in San Francisco, as they have not swept a series here since 1994. The Mets' weak link has been facing right-handed pitching where they are just 13-30 in their last 43 games. The Giants are now 26-9 in their last 35 at home with Cain on the hill to a total of 7 to 8.5. Take the Giants.
