The Mets' best chance for a win here came last night with Matt Harvey on the mound, and they got the job done in extra innings with a 4-3 verdict. The pitching battle tonight stacks up about even with Dillon Gee going for the Mets, and Barry Zito for the Giants, as both have very similar numbers on the season. The Mets have not fared well in the role of a dog from +110 to +150 where they are just 9-23 over their last 32. Zito has been much better at home where the Giants are 17-5 in his last 22 starts as a favorite, including 10-2 at home, and 8-1 here vs. a team with a losing record. The Giants are cashing in on expected low-scoring games at 37-18 in their last 55 to a total of 7 to 8.5 on home turf. Play on San Francisco.
