The Mets and the Giants are not playing very well right now. The Mets were shutout last night 3-0, and today they turn to first time All-Star Jacob deGrom to stop the bleeding. Overall deGrom has had a 1.55 ERA over his last nine starts. The Mets offense has been ugly of late, leading to a 16-5 mark to the UNDER in their last 21 games overall. In their last 26 home games, the Giants have seen the total go OVER just six times when they face a winning team here, including just one of their last nine in the role of a home dog. The Mets won deGrom's only start vs. the Giants allowing two runs in a 4-2 win. Peavy allowed just two runs in his last start in a 2-1 loss and has a 3.45 career ERA vs. the Mets. Two struggling offenses will be hard-pressed to produce runs, and won't enough to get over the top in this one. Play on the UNDER.
