New York at Philadelphia

The NY Mets have now closed the deal in the NL East. With so much young pitching leading the way, the arms have accumulated a lot of innings. As a result, expect to see a lot of resting payers, and limited innings from the pen as well. This becomes a glorified exhibition game with the line simply too high because the Mets are not likely to be the team that their season record represents. David Buchanan has had a forgettable season for the most part, but is off a pair of encouraging and confidence building outings. Colon has not fared well at all after extended rest, as the Mets are 0-6 in his last  starts in five days of rest. The Phillies have played well above the norm when following a long road trip of seven games or more, coming home to a 48-22 mark in their last 70. Take Philadelphia.
