New York at Philadelphia

New York begins Game 1 of the Divisional Series on the road. It's been an emotional and exhausting week. The Mets played a doubleheader Monday, clinching a playoff spot, then played three games in three days at Milwaukee taking the final game Thursday with a stunning ninth-inning comeback to save their season. The pitching has been worn out as they turn to Kodai Senga, who hasn't thrown since July 29 (calf strain). He's only pitched 5⅓ innings this season as shoulder and triceps injuries kept him out the first four months. The Mets will have starters David Peterson and Tylor Megill relieving Senga after a few innings. The Phillies hit .273 off Peterson this season while Megill has a 4.80 ERA on the road. While the Mets are trying to find arms for Game 1, Philadelphia has been resting all week. They have the best home record in the majors (54-27) with an offense that is fifth in runs, on-base percentage, slugging, and steals. Zack Wheeler (2.57 ERA) has 224 strikeouts in 200 innings and has held batters to a .192 average. Philadelphia is 11-2 in his last 13 home starts, including 5-0 when Wheeler starts as home chalk of -151 to -200. Play Philadelphia.
