New York at Philadelphia

The New York Mets pitching has not only kept them in the race, but they now own a commanding lead in the NL East, and the offense has been better since Cespedes was acquired prior to the trade deadline. While the pitching has led the way, that hasn't been the case for Bartolo Colon, tonight's starter. Colon was hit hard last time out, and after a strong start in 2015, he is 42-years-old, and appears to be totally out of gas, as his ERA has soared to near 5. Colon is just 1-7 in his last 11 starts. Philadelphia has swung the bats much better, and should be productive against the now subpar Colon. Jerad Eickhoff made his first start count, working six scoreless innings, and has to be feeling good taking the hill today. Play on Philadelphia.
